Custom FAQ

  • It is best that you have an idea or a direction you’d like to go in. Find your ideas for rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets and necklaces by browsing websites (such as Pinterest, Google Images, by using social media hashtags, magazine pictures, jewelry websites, celebrity inspiration, or any other type of media source) or by bringing in pieces or pictures of pieces you’d like your custom piece to emulate. We will trace out ideas for you upon first visit, or perhaps show you something in our inventory that matches your description. But it is imperative you have some sort of source so we know what method to approach. Each custom job is different depending on the complexity of your idea, or the resources your bring in for us to use (like stones from other pieces of jewelry).

  • All custom jobs are by appointment only. Please visit the Contact tag at the top of the website. Book an appointment to come in with your ideas and supplies. Inquire if you’d just like a phone call answering your questions. Or give us a call at 772-286-8383, email@neecejewelers.com. We only have one phone line, so please go to our Contact options before directly calling us. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Custom work is case by case. A minimum of 4 weeks to a maximum of 16 weeks is typically seen with custom work. You have to approve of every step before we proceed, ensuring your happiness, and highest quality of work. Some processes are lengthy if we are ordering every piece in the jewelry and CAD rendering wax samples. Your organic ideas coming to live does not take overnight, and we make sure every detail is perfect every step of the way.

  • Since every piece of custom work is different, every price will vary. But typically a minimum of $2,000 is around the average that we regularly quote. For example, if you want a diamond ring, let’s say a solitaire ring with a Tiffany setting: your center stone depending on cut and clarity, could go up to $40,000 and beyond (or less) just for a natural diamond. It is very hard to give you an exact amount for your potential piece. We recommend you to come into the store so we can evaluate your ideas and estimate cost.

  • We would not incorporate your gold into your new piece. However, we can buy your gold and use the value you have towards the payment of your finished product.
